The Nike GP x Metro Sports Fieldhouse Volleyball Skill Development Camp offers an exciting opportunity for 4th–6th grade athletes to build their confidence and elevate their game in a fun, supportive, and high-energy environment.
Designed for players of all skill levels, the camp focuses on developing a strong foundation in soccer fundamentals — including dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive positioning — while encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game.
Led by Community Ambassadors from Nike and Metro Sports Fieldhouse, participants will take part in age-appropriate drills, small-sided games, and interactive challenges that blend learning with play. Whether new to the sport or looking to sharpen existing skills, each player will receive instruction to help them grow both on and off the field.
Please wear athletic sneakers and bring a water bottle. Snacks will be provided.

Our candle making class combines hands-on learning with active sports and fitness activities to create a fun, engaging, and educational experience for youth. Candle making will be lead by the amazing owners of Soul Sent. Participants will develop crafting skills and make custom candles while also developing teamwork, confidence, and physical fitness through structured sports and recreational activities.
Designed for all skill levels, this program promotes healthy lifestyles, leadership, discipline, and social development in a positive and supportive environment and encourages students to stay active, make healthier choices, and build lifelong skills both on and off the court — while encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game.
Led by Community Ambassadors from Nike and Metro Sports Fieldhouse, participants will take part in age-appropriate drills, small-sided games, and interactive challenges that blend learning with play. Whether new to the sport or looking to sharpen existing skills, each player will receive instruction to help them grow both on and off the field of play.
We will be accepting registrations for the first 30 participants to ensure that each participant has an enjoyable and engaging experience. Registration will close once all 30 spots have been filled.
Please wear athletic sneakers and bring a water bottle. Snacks will be provided.

Our Cooking & Sports Class combines hands-on culinary learning with active sports and fitness activities to create a fun, engaging, and educational experience for youth. Participants will learn basic cooking skills, kitchen safety, nutrition education, and how to prepare healthy meals and snacks, while also developing teamwork, confidence, and physical fitness through structured sports and recreational activities led by Community Ambassadors from Nike and Metro Sports Fieldhouses.
Designed for all skill levels, this program promotes healthy lifestyles, leadership, discipline, and social development in a positive and supportive environment and encourages students to stay active, make healthier choices, and build lifelong skills both on and off the court — while encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game.
We will be accepting registrations for the first 25 participants to ensure that each participant has an enjoyable and engaging experience. Registration will close once all 25 spots have been filled. If you are unable to register in time for this event, don’t worry — we will be offering one additional cooking class opportunities in July (please see calendar for dates and details).
We want to make sure that we provide an opportunity for new individuals to participate. Therefore, individuals who have previously participated in one of our cooking classes will be placed on a waiting list. Previous participants will be notified and invited to attend if we do not reach 25 new participants registered for this event.

10th Annual back to school family health and wellness fair
Through our Health and Wellness Fairs, Metro Sports Fieldhouse (MSF) strives to make a tangible impact on the families and communities we proudly serve. We are excited to host our 10th Annual Back-to-School Family Health and Wellness Fair, where families will have access to valuable resources that help support a successful start to the school year.
No registration is required!
MSF and our community partners will be onsite providing free sneakers, school supplies, community resources, wellness information, and additional support services while supplies last. Our goal is to ensure that every child leaves with essential resources to help them start the school year with confidence and be prepared for success.
This event is designed to help ease the financial burden many families face during the back-to-school season while connecting them with organizations and services that promote health, wellness, and long-term community support.
Parking Information:
Please feel free to park on either side of the Maverick Activity Center upon your arrival. MSF staff and volunteers will be onsite to direct families to the event location and assist with any questions.

4TH aNNUAL 2025 MSF Jingle Jam Holiday Event
Join us for Jingle Jam 2025! Each registered child will be able to receive Christmas wish list items! We will also have local food & vendors, community organizations, live music, and more! This will be the time of the year were we bring families together to network and promote community during the holiday season!
This year we will not be registering kids for toys. All toys will be provided on a first come first serve basis. We are working very hard to ensure that we have lots of toys for all children that will be in attendance.

9th Annual back to school family health and wellness fair
Through our Health and Wellness fairs, MSF is strives to make a tangible impact on the families that live in the communities that we love. We are proud to be hosting our 9th Annual Back to School Family Health and Wellness Fair. During this event families can expect for their children to receive resources that will help support a successful start to the school year.
This year participants must attend one our upcoming Sports & Career Literacy Camps in order to qualify for sneaker reservation. Sneaker reservation will guarantee that your kids will receive a pair of sneakers in their size. Once your child attends a camp a separate registration form will be sent to the registered email address to register and reserve sneakers for your child.
If you do not attend one of our Sports & Career Literacy Camps you will not be able to reserve sneakers for your child but don’t worry. You are still able to attend the Back to School Family Health and Wellness Fair. Vendors will be onsite providing supplies and other resources. MSF will have additional sneakers in various styles and sizes that will be available on a first come first serve bases.

During this SCLC camp MSF will be partnering with Soul Scent to provide youth with a fun candle making experience in addition to enriching activities geared towards promoting healthy living through physical activity and sports.
This camp will have a Mother’s Day theme! With guidance from Soul Scent, participants will be able to unlock their inner artistic abilities and explore all that candle making has to offer.
Our goal is to provide participants with a unique hands on experience, which is why we will be taking the first 40 registered children for this event.

Our goal is to provide participants with a unique opportunity to compete on the field of play while also fundraising to giveback to a charitable cause during the holiday season!

8th Annual back to school family health and wellness fair
Ages: 5-18
Through our Health and Wellness fairs, MSF is strives to make a tangible impact on the families that live in the communities that we love. We are proud to be hosting our 6th Annual Back to School Family Health and Wellness Fair. During this event families can expect for their children to receive resources that will help support a successful start to the school year.
Registration to receive a free pair of sneakers has closed. We have reached our 320 max number of registrations for children that will receive a free pair of sneakers.
MSF and our comminty partners will be onsite during the event providing other resources during our Back to School Family Health and Wellness Fair! All families registered or not are welcomed to attend and visit our onsite vendors. Registration is not required for attendance.
If we receive additional funding to support more than 320 students we will reopen registration and communicate the reopening of the registration to our families.
We hope to see new and familiar faces that we can connect with and welcome to the MSF family!

Every summer the APD Communities Service Division manages four one-week long camps designed especially for “at risk” youth entering the 8th or 9th grade and ages 12-14. The activities are designed to build character, leadership, trust, and responsibility through a variety of activities. MSF has been supporting the awesome programming of the Police Athletic League for 4 years. We bring our unique program and staff to provide the kids that come through the PAL program with holistic development opportunities by putting them through fun, physical and educational activities.

MSF is partnering with the Woods Works of Heart to provide our parents and youth with opportunities to learn how to acknowledge common medical emergencies, perform hands on CPR techniques, handle choking situations, and perform basic first aid practices.
Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the event.
